The Operations Research and C5ISR Analysis (ORCA) group is seeking a Space Operations Analyst to provide on-site support in San Diego, CA to the Space Warfighting Analysis Center (SWAC) and Space Security & Defense Program (SSDP). The candidate will leverage simulation systems to support multi-domain military operations and drive the analytical process. Operations Analysts apply Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) principles and analytical tools to identify trends, analyze complex data, and solve real-world challenges. Qualified candidates should be able to effectively communicate analytic results, understand current and future space system capabilities, and apply analytical and engineering methodologies to solve operational problems.
The SPA is seeking an Acquisition Management Support Level III in San Diego.
Responsibilities The Acquisition Management Support III position is concerned with Acquisition Management provides daily program, analytical, and acquisition management support to senior level executives. Acquisition Management provides detail oriented management of records, business research analysis, and valuation strategies. They may also be involved in various administrative tasks. Acquisition Management should have strong computer, finance, and analytical skills. They will often work with or lead teams.
The ideal candidate will possess experience in performing the following tasks:
Provide daily program, analytical, and acquisition management support to senior-level executives
Manage records, conduct business research analysis, and develop valuation strategies to support program objectives
Perform various administrative tasks as required
Apply strong computer, finance, and analytical skills to acquisition processes
Lead or participate in teams to deliver acquisition management solutions
Support DoD acquisition organizations across ACAT I/II, ACAT III/IV, AAPs, Projects, and Adaptive Acquisition Framework Pathways
Ensure compliance with DoD and Navy acquisition policies and procedures
CA Pay Transparency Salary Range: $120K - $135K.
Qualifications Required
Bachelor’s Degree
7 or more years of acquisition management support experience
DAWIA Level III in program management or similar (e.g. PMP)
Three (3) years of direct support to a Navy organization performing systems acquisition
Professional experience with DoD acquisition organizations spanning ACAT I/II to ACAT III/IV & AAPs, Projects, and Adaptive Acquisition Framework Pathways (to include Software Acquisition Pathway, Middle Tier Acquisition Pathway, etc.)
Program management experience with the Navy or comparable DoD Acquisition Agencies
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills and ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
Top Secret/SCI Clearance, and the ability to maintain it throughout employment
