Lake Washington School District is seeking qualified middle school

Special Education Teachers

for positions in a

Resource Room

setting for the 2023-2024 school year. This general posting will be used to build an applicant pool. Building administrators will contact candidates if selected for an interview.

The resource room program provides academic and behavioral supports to students who spend most of their time in general education. Teachers may offer pull-out services, push-in supports, or co-teach with general education teachers.

Qualifications: Washington State teaching certificate with a Special Education endorsement.

Salary: Paid according to the teacher salary schedule, including Base contract, LEAP days, Responsibility, and stipends for Technology and Professional Fund. See LWEA salary schedule on the website. Full benefits are available for employees working at least 630 hours during the school year.
