We are seeking a dedicated, passionate, and experienced Infant Teacher to join our team. As an Infant Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing, stimulating, and safe environment that supports the social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development of young children. Your role will involve implementing an age-appropriate curriculum, managing classroom behavior, and fostering a love for learning and exploration in toddlers. Key Responsibilities: Implement dynamic, engaging lesson plans that align with the early childhood curriculum. Provide a variety of interactive and hands-on learning experiences through play, storytelling, sensory activities, arts and crafts, music, movement, and more. Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment where all children feel valued and respected. Monitor, document, and assess each child's progress, using observation and assessment tools, and provide detailed feedback to parents and caregivers. Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to create a cohesive, well-rounded educational program. Use effective classroom management and positive reinforcement techniques to promote positive behaviors. Offer individualized attention to children who may require additional support or early intervention. Maintain accurate and organized records of student attendance, development milestones, and progress reports. Communicate regularly and effectively with parents or guardians to discuss their child's growth, milestones, and any concerns. Required Skills and Qualifications: Strong early literacy and language development skills to encourage verbal and cognitive growth in young children. Proficiency in classroom behavior management and positive guidance techniques. Previous experience working with toddlers in a childcare, preschool, or early education setting. Solid knowledge of early childhood development, age-appropriate teaching methods, and best practices. Ability to create and deliver an engaging and developmentally appropriate curriculum that supports physical, cognitive, social, and emotional growth. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and staff. CPR and First Aid certification (preferred) but will get you certified if need be.
