Job Description The company seeks a Title Abstractor Landman to work directly with the project management team in Canton, OH. The role involves mineral and title research, maintaining production goals and deadlines, and providing research to support drilling operations and lease payouts.
Responsibilities
Research county records for surface and mineral ownership via online databases or courthouse visits
Analyze and document research results for report submission
Meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities
Assist with other duties as assigned by management
Mandatory Requirements
Minimum 5 years of experience in title/mineral research
Curative experience
Juris Doctorate or a relevant degree with sufficient experience
Ability to meet deadlines and work independently
Professional communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and Adobe Acrobat
Preferred Qualifications
AAPL membership
Bachelor’s degree
Juris Doctorate
Degree in Energy Management/Commerce
