Enlist as a soldier

United States Army
and become a diver who supervises or performs underwater reconnaissance, demolition, repair, and salvage. They provide conventional and powered bridge and rafting support for wet and dry gap crossing operations. This is not a civilian contractor position.
No experience necessary. Position is entry level.
JOB DUTIES
Conduct reconnaissance, demolition, and salvage underwater.
Assist with underwater construction and specialize in either scuba diving or deep-sea diving.
Support special warfare and explosive ordnance disposal troops while using diving gear.
PAID TRAINING
10 weeks of Basic Training
29 weeks of Technical School with on-the-job instructions.

ORGANIZATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Between 17-34 years old.
No felonies. (Defer Adjudication included).
Current High School Senior, High school graduate or GED equivalent.
Permanent resident or US citizen.
Meet physical standards based on gender and age.
Pass the Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB) test
