The Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering prepares ethically conscious engineers through rigorous academic foundations and practical, research-driven experiences. We emphasize strong student‑faculty relationships to prepare students for professional and academic success. Key Highlights

ABET-accredited undergraduate programs (BS in Civil Engineering, BS in Environmental Engineering). MSCE in Civil Engineering (online and in-person) and an interdisciplinary PhD with specializations in Smart Infrastructure, Innovative Materials, and more. Hands-on laboratory experiences in upper-level Civil and Environmental courses. Practice-ready curriculum aligned with evolving industry needs and opportunities for applied research and co-curricular activities. Job Summary

Kennesaw State University is accepting applications for a pool of open rank, part-time and limited-term faculty positions in Civil and Environmental Engineering for the academic year 2025-2026. Positions are on an as-needed, semester-by-semester basis. Rank is determined at hire and will be commensurate with credentials. Work is in the state of Georgia. Responsibilities

Teaching undergraduate and/or graduate courses in the civil engineering discipline. Required Qualifications

To teach undergraduate courses: A minimum of a Masters degree, or the foreign equivalent, in Civil Engineering or a closely related discipline is required at the time of hire. OR A minimum of a Masters degree, or the foreign equivalent, in a non-related discipline with 18 graduate credit hours in the teaching discipline is required at the time of hire. To teach graduate courses: A Terminal/Doctorate degree, or the foreign equivalent, in Civil Engineering or a related discipline is required at the time of hire. Preferred Qualifications

Professional engineering license Prior experience in teaching Civil Engineering courses Record of past teaching at the Undergraduate level Required Documents to Attach
