Position Overview: The Regional Sales Manager (RSM) will be responsible for business development, sales, customer support, and selling efforts within five key market verticals:

(1) Oil and Gas/Petrochemical, (2) Industrial, (3) Marine, (4) Aviation, and (5) Government/Defense . The RSM will also develop and manage distribution accounts, contractors, engineering procurement companies (EPCs), and engineering firms. This role requires proactive engagement with a diverse cross-section of customers, with a strong focus on regional distributors. The Northeast Territory includes the states of

Virginia, Kentucky, West Virginia, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Delaware, New Jersey, New York, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Vermont, New Hampshire, and Maine . The role involves bid-specification work at the end-user level and facilitating business through distributors, contractors, specifying engineers, or EPCs to close orders. Responsibilities: Specify, sell, and promote a broad portfolio of technical products, including firefighting foam concentrates and fire protection fixed systems. Understand technical complexities of products and how they integrate into solutions. Engage directly with end-users, distributors, EPCs, fire engineering companies, contractors, and specifiers to develop sales strategies. Conduct market assessments, product planning, and technology assessments to develop business plans and strategies. Travel frequently across multiple states to manage customer relationships and business development activities. Close business while tracking sales metrics, meeting quotas, and reporting on sales progress. Provide technical information to customers, engineers, and contractors to facilitate order closures. Stay updated on fire protection standards for hydrocarbon and polar solvent risks. Participate in trade association activities to influence product specifications and industry standards. Act as the senior sales and customer interface, articulating the company’s value proposition, engineering capabilities, and product development expertise. Collaborate with internal teams, including production, sales, customer service, and marketing. Utilize CRM software for reporting, pipeline development, forecasting, and market analysis. Qualifications: BS/BA Degree (preferably in fire engineering). Minimum 3 years of experience in technical sales within fire protection or special hazards industries. Proven sales skills in fire protection and/or fire prevention markets, preferably with end-user engagement. Experience with industrial fire equipment for oil & gas, marine, power, petrochemical, and aviation fire protection systems. Preference for candidates with firefighting foam products experience. Experience working for an OEM or transitioning from engineering/estimating roles within sprinkler contracting, fire protection, or OEMs. Strong technical knowledge, especially in long sales cycles, capital-intensive, bid/specification environments. Ability to travel up to 70% per month across a large multi-state territory. Excellent communication skills to engage customers at all levels. Ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams. Proficiency in MS Office, CRM software (e.g., Zoho), and PowerPoint. Ability to meet deadlines, forecast opportunities, and manage sales pipelines effectively. Seniority level
