The Account Manager, ideally based in San Antonio or Austin, TX, will drive sales of Bio-Rad’s clinical diagnostic product line by developing and executing a territory business plan. Responsibilities include achieving sales goals, managing accounts, identifying new opportunities, and balancing customer priorities. The role requires strong communication skills, collaboration with the sales team, commitment to customer satisfaction, and adherence to Bio-Rad’s quality standards. Ongoing professional development through training, seminars, and tradeshows is also expected.
How You’ll Make An Impact
Develop and execute a Territory Sales Plan.
Promote and sell the Bio-Rad account manager portfolio, consisting of quality controls, Infectious disease, blood bank, immunology and diabetes equipment and reagents.
Build, Manage and Grow sales opportunity funnel. Identify, nurture and grow sales opportunities.
Manage and meet customer deadlines.
Proactively partner and communicate with the instrument sales team to ensure achievement of territory goals.
Proactively update Salesforce.com on a daily basis.
Proactively communicate with the regional manager on activities, market trends, opportunities and forecasts.
Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills within Bio-Bad and externally with customers.
Learn technical aspects of the product portfolio and learn to demonstrate products.
Work closely and in harmony with Technical Service, Customer Service, Marketing, and other Bio-Rad personnel as needed to meet sales goals.
What You Bring
Education: BA/BS degree in a medical technology, life science or technical related discipline or equivalent; advanced degree preferred.
Experience: 3-5 years of relevant experience, preferably in the clinical diagnostics sales and/or certified laboratory experience. Interpersonal skills are a must, working in a team environment.
Experience using Microsoft applications is required.
Experience with Salesforce CRM software preferable. 20% overnight travel is required.
Must have a valid drivers license with a clean driving record.

Compensation The estimated base salary range for this position is $84,300 to $116,000 at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be provided in writing at the time of offer, if applicable, and is based on several factors we believe fairly and accurately impact compensation, including geographic location, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and other job permitted factors. This position is also eligible for quarterly commission based on assigned sales quotas.
