2-year degree preferred, high school diploma or equivalent required 6 months prior sales, cashier or money handling experience preferred Successfully pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening Ability to work under pressure while still providing excellent guest service Excellent organizational skills, time management skills, and punctuality are essential Must have a valid driver’s license and be insurable. Must have reliable transportation and the ability to be at work even during inclement weather. Ability to amend schedule or pick up additional hours to meet business demands Must be able to work both independently and as a team member Must successfully pass a math proficiency test Operate in mentally and physically stressful situations, lift up to 50 pounds Must be able to stand for the entire shift, up to 10 hours Must be able to read, write, and speak English Tribal Preference Prairie Band One Stop is subject to Title 22: Employment Code of the Prairie Band Potawatomi Nation. Primary Job Duties Accurately operate a cash register including all cash and credit transactions Ensure guest satisfaction by providing speedy service, excellent customer service and being attentive to guest needs Ensure inventory levels are adequate, and stocks merchandise as needed Protects company assets Adhere to company and compliance policies Maintain a clean and safe environment for employees and customers Assist in planning and managing day-to-day operations, including training, recruitment, and scheduling of employees Ensuring compliance of company policies Ensure customer questions/concerns are handled in a timely manner that is also satisfactory to both the guest & company Other duties as assigned Company

The purpose was to diversify, manage and expand economic interests of the Nation beyond the realm of Indian gaming. In mid-2011, Prairie Band, LLC was granted initial funding, and began its targeted focus. Headquartered on the Prairie Band Potawatomi Nation Reservation, our shared services team provides a wide range of services that support the Prairie Band, LLC family of companies. Our shared services team is utilized by Prairie Band subsidiaries to maximize efficiencies and effectiveness. The team maintains responsibility for general administrative support, human resources, network and communication systems, physical facilities, marketing, legal, and financial support functions. The shared services team is involved in identifying and planning for the changing needs of the organization, shares responsibility with the appropriate senior managers for strategic planning and contributes to cost-effective management throughout the organization. The Prairie Band, LLC mission is to utilize its various economic and legal advantages to expand and diversify the economic portfolio of the Prairie Band Potawatomi Nation (PBPN). With the ultimate goal of Tribal economic self-sufficiency, Prairie Band, LLC adheres to the following core principles: respect the past, capitalize on current opportunities and create a stable economic future for the Nation.
