POSITION SUMMARY
Our Corporate Owned Life Insurance (COLI) organization is looking for a Life Insurance Account Analyst to support our team as you learn our life insurance products. As your knowledge grows, you will have opportunities to expand your responsibilities, including managing your own cases and working closely with broker and client contacts
within a supportive team environment . If you are detail-oriented and self-motivated, this role is for you! ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Process various life insurance transactions for our Corporate Owned Universal Life Insurance clients (e.g., death claims, premium payments, surrenders, withdrawals, loans, lapse mailings). Manage and perform case and policy servicing, focusing on complex universal life plans within Corporate Insurance. Manage the renewal process according to case profiles and renewal calendar dates, adapting to changes in plans, legislation, and workload. Utilize advanced expertise in products and procedures to service clients effectively, maintaining knowledge of plan designs and identifying exceptions. Act as the primary client contact for issue resolution, communicating technical concepts clearly. Complete client requests accurately within service standards and deadlines, ensuring compliance with laws and regulations. Produce reports and perform analyses as required. Interpret illustration results and compliance implications using product knowledge. Identify and address problem areas, implementing operational improvements. Participate in departmental projects like audits, testing, and request prioritization. Support scanning of critical policy documents for audits. Develop expertise in administration, illustration, and imaging systems for policy activities. QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics preferred. Proficiency in Windows-based applications (MS Office). At least 1 year of customer support or business experience in financial services or corporate insurance. If servicing variable products, FINRA Series 6 & 63 must be completed within 6 months. Completion of 3 or more CLU exams within 2 years of hire. Strong analytical and financial skills. Knowledge of Life Insurance and accounting principles. Excellent communication skills. Customer service orientation. Ability to multi-task and organize effectively. Understanding of financial services industry and products. Sense of urgency and goal-oriented approach. Proven collaboration skills. If working remotely, internet connection must be via cable broadband or fiber with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.
