Sales Tax Manager
in Ohio to lead our indirect tax compliance and strategy efforts. The role will oversee all aspects of sales and use tax compliance for PVC and its operations, ensure accurate filings and timely payments, and provide strategic tax guidance across the organization. You will lead a team of tax professionals, manage audits, and drive tax planning initiatives. Responsibilities
Oversee timely and accurate filing of sales and use tax returns across multiple jurisdictions. Develop and implement tax strategies to minimize liabilities while ensuring compliance. Lead, mentor, and support a team of tax professionals. Monitor and analyze changes in tax laws and assess their impact on the business. Collaborate with internal departments and external advisors to provide expert tax guidance. Manage sales tax audits and respond to inquiries from tax authorities. Identify opportunities for tax recovery and process improvements. Drive automation and efficiency in tax processes. Qualifications
CPA designation (required). 5-10+ years of experience in indirect tax, with a strong focus on U.S. Federal and State sales tax. Proven leadership and team management experience. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Solid experience with leading tax platforms (e.g., Avalara). Experience with NetSuite ERP (system implementation is a strong asset). Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel. Ability to explain complex tax issues clearly to various stakeholders. Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment. What’s in it for you?
