We are expanding our team and seeking a qualified Sales Representative focused on driving sales and service excellence to grow the Pure Barre community. This is an opportunity to interact with clients daily and help create a supportive and meaningful community. The purpose of the Sales Representative is to assist the General Manager with new membership sales by bringing new members to the studio, building relationships, providing a positive experience, and guiding them through the sales process to a membership sale. The Sales Representative also assists with retaining and providing unmatched customer service to current members. Boutique fitness knowledge or experience is preferred, but not required. Morning shifts are available Monday–Friday 8am–2pm and evening shifts Monday–Friday 4pm–8pm, plus weekend rotation. RESPONSIBILITIES
Execute sales process of lead generation, follow up, and close Conduct tours of the facility while establishing a relationship and understanding individual goals and needs Maintain acceptable level of personal sales production Emphasize and enforce objectives of the club as a fitness and wellness provider Present available services to current or prospective members Book quality appointments to achieve monthly sales quota Participate in special events (health fairs, grand openings, marathons, and community and hospital events) to promote the club Develop selling skills Process accurate cash and credit card transactions Follow up and follow-through activities with prospective clients Input inventory for retail clothing and other items Attend and complete all relative training programs Take pictures for social media platforms Light cleaning of the retail area, studio, and restrooms Other duties as assigned REQUIREMENTS
Excellent sales, communication, and customer service skills required Warm, welcoming and engaging personality Ability to build strong customer relationships Goal-oriented with ability to achieve sales in memberships, retail, and private training Self-motivated and takes initiative Ability to learn and use the ClubReady software system Excellent communication skills via in person, phone and email Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines Proficient computer skills Authorization to work in the United States required COMPENSATION & PERKS
Competitive base rate and commission paid on sales Opportunities for growth within the studios including additional sales and management positions Free unlimited membership to Pure Barre Employee retail discounts A little more info: The perfect candidate would be available to work 2-3 shifts per week, with availability 8am–2pm for the morning shift and/or 4pm–8:30pm for the evening shift. Weekend rotation is 7:00am–2:00pm. Compensation starts at $12.50/hr with a Free Membership to the 3 RVA Pure Barre studios, plus bonuses and commissions. The role requires independence in a sales-heavy environment, an outgoing personality, and phone etiquette with eagerness to learn and promote Pure Barre. We do not make cold calls; we obtain people’s information because they provide it to us. This is a busy studio with monthly goals that support studio operations. Minimum of 20 phone calls per shift to prospective members, along with emails and texts. You will also handle basic member issues and use a POS system for retail purchases. We prioritize health and safety, including cleanliness and sanitation, in line with class turnover and operational needs. Further details will be provided upon interview invitation.
