upon hire: $500 and another $500 upon completion of 90 days. Position summary

The Toddler Teacher Assistant is responsible for partnering with the Lead Toddler Teacher to actively facilitate the education, care, and general development of the children following DCFS licensing, NAEYC, and Head Start performance standards. Full-time position in partnership with Early Childhood Education directly impacting the West Town neighborhood. Travel: No travel required; on-site work. Responsibilities

The Assistant Teacher partners with the classroom team to provide developmentally and culturally appropriate lesson plans for the classroom. Works with the team to effectively manage the classroom environment. Promotes recognition, acceptance, and positive interactions among children, families, and staff in the classroom. Completes and facilitates lesson plans in cooperation with the classroom team. Qualifications

Associates degree in Early Childhood Education. Illinois Gateways Infant Toddler credential level 3. Bilingual/bicultural Spanish preferred. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Criminal, Child Abuse and Neglect and Sex Offender background checks are mandatory. Team Member Benefits
