What You Will Do to Change Lives
The Peer Recovery Coach I engages, inspires, and facilitates meaningful conversations with members to explore, create, and meet their recovery goals. They provide consultation to promote Telecare's Recovery Culture, recognizing each member's preferences and integrating them into services. They respond to critical situations with high-level engagement and de-escalation skills to support a least restrictive environment for members experiencing emergencies related to mental health or addiction.
Shifts Available:
Short-Hour | NOC/PM | Shifts: 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM; 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM | Days: Saturday - Sunday
Expected starting wage range is $21.00 - $22.52. Telecare applies geographic differentials based on location. Starting pay depends on relevant experience above minimum requirements.
What You Bring to the Table (Must Have)
High School Diploma or GED Peer Certification obtained prior to hire and maintained throughout employment California: Medi-Cal Peer Support Specialist Certification through CalMHSA required before hire and maintained during employment.
One (1) year or part-time equivalent supporting members with behavioral health challenges Experience supporting individuals with mental disabilities Experience as a beneficiary of the public Behavioral Health system of care Successful completion of Peer Support or Peer Employment Training
