Liberty FCU is seeking a Full-Time
Member Service Representative/Teller
for the Newburgh Office located at 7697 Park Place Drive, Newburgh, IN. Candidates must possess excellent member service skills, professionalism and confidentiality. Previous financial institution experience is preferred. Office hours: Monday–Thursday 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., Friday 8:30 a.m. - 6:00 p.m., Saturday 8:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Rotating Saturdays required. Responsibilities
Serve as a primary Member Service Representative (MSR). Meet member needs by maintaining knowledge of all company products and services. Run transactions: deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, credit card payments, transfers, and shared branching transactions with high accuracy. Determine acceptability of negotiable items and place holds on deposited funds when applicable. Identify potential fraud and take action to protect members and the Credit Union. Recognize member needs and recommend appropriate products and services while providing quality member service. Balance cash drawer daily. Meet MSR cross-sell goals and support branch goals and initiatives. Assist with processing night drop and balancing branch cash machines. Answer member telephone inquiries and assist with vault duties as needed. Represent the Credit Union to members in a friendly, professional manner; greet members as they enter the branch. Demonstrate knowledge of policies and procedures related to MSR duties, including security and IT security. Complete all required compliance training and maintain confidentiality. Prepare daily work items for transfer to appropriate departments. Qualifications
High school diploma or GED; 18 years or older. Flexible schedule; ability to travel to other office locations when needed. Ability to stand for long periods and perform some heavy lifting. 1-2 years of cash handling experience. Banking experience preferred. Benefits and Compensation
