department. This is a full-time position.

Qualifications
Two years of law enforcement experience.
Experience substitution: Every 30 semester hours from an accredited college or university substitutes for one year of experience, up to a maximum of two years.
Applicants must be at least 18 years old.
Possession of a current Louisiana driver’s license.
Possession of an active POST certification may be required.
Felony convictions or indictments disqualify applicants until legal disabilities are relieved.
Job Duties Responsibilities include investigating crimes and accidents, enforcing laws, providing emergency services, and participating in special assignments like crowd control and surveillance. Some roles may involve serving as an assistant shift supervisor.
