Salary Range: $135,000-$225,000+ Bonus
Location: Redding, CA | Job Type: Full-Time
Job Overview As a Pediatrician or Advanced Practice Provider, you will provide primary pediatric care that spans preventive, acute, and chronic disease management. You'll conduct well‑child visits, perform immunizations, and address developmental milestones through screenings. Your expertise will be crucial in diagnosing and treating a wide range of pediatric conditions, from routine illnesses to more complex needs. You will also guide families with essential wellness and nutritional advice, counsel on vaccinations, and provide developmental support. Working collaboratively with an integrated healthcare team, you'll coordinate care with specialists and community resources. Maintaining accurate and timely documentation in our Electronic Health Record (EHR) system will also be a key responsibility. We believe in quality improvement, so you will have the opportunity to contribute to initiatives and follow FQHC standards. If you're a Pediatrician, you may also supervise medical students, residents, and support staff to help nurture the next generation of healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities
Conduct well‑child and preventive care visits.
Perform immunizations and address developmental screening milestones.
Diagnose and treat acute and chronic pediatric illnesses.
Provide family counseling on wellness, nutrition, and vaccination schedules.
Coordinate care with specialists and community resources.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.
Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and FQHC standards.
Supervisor role for medical students, residents, and support staff (for Pediatrician).
Qualifications
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics.
Active and unrestricted California medical license.
DEA license with prescribing authority.
Master's or Doctoral degree from an accredited NP or PA program.
Board Certified as a Pediatric NP, Family NP, or PA‑C with pediatric experience.
Active and unrestricted California NP or PA license.
DEA license with prescribing authority.
Experience in a community health or FQHC setting (Preferred).
Bilingual proficiency (Spanish or other languages spoken in the community) (Preferred).
Experience working with underserved and diverse patient populations (Preferred).
