NDT Level 3 Technician
to join our team in
Groton, Connecticut ! This role is open to relocation within the US. Doncasters

PTO Competitive 401K Competitive medical insurance The role: We are seeking a highly skilled Level 3 Technician to lead and support our Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) operations, with a specific focus on radiographic testing (both digital and film) of superalloys in accordance with NAS410 standards. This pivotal role involves overseeing and mentoring Level 1 and Level 2 NDT operators, ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance are consistently met. Key Responsibilities: Develop, administer, and evaluate examinations for all certification levels within the NDT discipline. Conduct regular audits and performance evaluations of Level 1 and Level 2 personnel. Support the development and maintenance of NDT procedures and related technical work instructions, ensuring their technical adequacy within your certified method. Provide technical assistance in addressing customer concerns and support investigations related to NDT findings or non-conformities. Operate NDT equipment safely and effectively, including radiographic and digital processing lines, UV and white light meters, inspection lamps, gauges, densitometers, survey meters, and x-ray systems. Make accurate and timely accept/reject decisions based on radiographic results, visual inspections, and customer specifications. Interested?
