Reports To

The Courier will report to the Client Services Supervisor, Client Services Manager, or equivalent leadership. Overview

The Courier provides exceptional delivery and courier services. This position receives orders from a centralized dispatch, retrieves parcels/mail from different local offices, and then delivers the parcels/mail in a timely and safe manner. The position may serve as a backup to front or back of office functions. The role maintains a professional image of the company through prompt, courteous, and efficient service. Duties and Responsibilities

Provides 5-star customer service to all employees (in all forms of communication). Travels a predefined courier route via automobile to deliver mail and parcels throughout the campus. Keeps log and time stamp of items received and delivered. Supports chain of custody requirements defined within the operating procedures. Performs pick-up and delivery of jobs by accurately following a map and/or written instructions. Follows Operational Service Excellence performance requirements. Responds to client requests, ensuring the accuracy of the order and timely delivery of completed orders. Completes all paperwork in a timely, accurate, and legible manner. Maintains compliance with state and company standards by operating a vehicle in a safe and lawful manner and following company guidelines in the event of an accident and/or injury. Presents professional appearance to clients by dressing in professional attire according to company standards. Maintains routine vehicle maintenance (oil changes, tire rotations, etc.) and ensures vehicle safety and readiness. Delivers mail and parcels throughout the campus and performs pick-up and delivery as needed. Responds to client requests accurately and in a timely manner. Proactively seeks out additional work during downtime and builds professional relationships with customers and other teams. Maintains professionalism and composure when interacting with all employees. Trains back-up and provides guidance on policies and procedures. Determines additional support needed when handling sensitive inquiries. Provides front or back of office coverage as needed. Demonstrates strong verbal and written communication skills, good organizational skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Working knowledge of MFD equipment and understanding of shipping/receiving procedures. Qualifications and Education Requirements

High School Diploma (or equivalent) required. 2+ years of prior work experience preferred. Current state-issued driver’s license with clean driving record. Ability to work assigned hours determined by manager. Excellent organizational and time management skills; analytical problem-solving abilities. Superb written and verbal communication skills. Ability to learn computer-based systems relevant to the position. Maintain a professional appearance and attitude; adhere to all policies and procedures. Ability to determine correct method and packing materials and verify packing slips for accuracy of incoming/outgoing materials. Physical Demands

Approximately 50% of the time, the position requires physical demands including grasping, lifting and carrying packages up to 60 lbs on a standard wheeled cart; ability to walk, bend, kneel, stand, and sit for extended periods. Manual dexterity for operating office machinery. Ability to lift or move 40 lbs. or greater frequently. Ability to operate a standard company motor vehicle. Travel
