Avionics Technician, Level I, II, or III (FAR Part 145) at ACI Jet The Avionics Technician performs maintenance on aircraft avionics components and electrical systems in accordance with MFG specifications and FAA guidelines. Reports To

The Avionics Technician reports directly to the Avionics Manager. Essential Duties And Responsibilities

Reports daily to their respective Maintenance Team Leader or Avionics Lead Technician. Completing tasks assigned to themselves in accordance with the procedures in ACI Jet’s Maintenance Manuals (Repair Station & Quality Control Manual and Air Carrier Operations General Maintenance Manual). Comply with all FARs, Operations Specifications, Company Policies, and Company Procedures. Ensure the appropriate technical data is available during maintenance, preventive maintenance, and alteration activities. Keep shop premises clean and orderly. Ensure that all maintenance or alteration processes are documented electronically on the maintenance forms as set forth in ACI Jet’s manuals. Determine whether a hidden damage inspection should be performed and perform maintenance accordingly. Submit all required work orders, reports, and other forms to the appropriate company authority in a timely manner. Maintain a productive relationship with ACI Jet managers, peers, manufacturer’s representatives, repair facilities, and the FAA. Participate in ACI Jet’s SQMS program to ensure safety and quality of duties. Requirements

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

Required

A passion for aviation. High School Diploma or equivalent. Must have at least 3-5 years of experience in aviation maintenance, preferably corporate. Must be able to work as part of a team in a high-stress, fast-paced environment. Must be highly motivated and organized. Must be computer proficient (MS Office, Aviation Maintenance Software). Must be able to lift 50 pounds, climb, kneel, squat, and stand for extended periods. Must be able to read, write, and speak English. Must be able to provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States. Highly Desirable

A&P Certificate Aero-IT Certification NCATT AET Certification FAR 135 Maintenance Experience Gulfstream, Cessna, and Bombardier factory training College or Technical degree preferred Other

This position is a DOT Safety Sensitive position. Avionics Technicians perform on-call duties and will require the candidate to work nights, weekends, and holidays. Avionics Technician Level will be determined by qualifications and experience level. Pay

$30.00 - $55.00/hour | DOE Seniority level
