Freelance Subtitler – Danish (CreatorGlobal)
is an integral part of our localization team, creating Danish subtitles for original English content to make it accessible for Danish-speaking audiences. If you are fluent in English and a native Danish speaker with experience in localization (translation, subtitling, and/or dubbing), you may be a perfect fit to join CreatorGlobal. About The Job As a Danish Subtitler, you will be responsible for the creation, translation, editing, and delivery of Danish subtitles for MrBeast-affiliated unscripted content. You will handle all steps of the subtitling process and ensure prompt delivery of subtitles to the CreatorGlobal Leadership team. This role requires a thorough understanding of industry-standard subtitling practices, familiarity with streaming style guidelines, and a passion for sharing your language. Additional expectations include ad-hoc localization tasks such as metadata translation, subtitle versioning, and collaboration with your larger regional team. What you'll do
Create subtitles in Danish with linguistic accuracy, cultural appropriateness, and compliance with language rules. Receive and implement feedback from the Language Coordinator into revised subtitles. Meet tight deadlines while subtitling multiple projects and respond to QC feedback within 24 hours of receipt. Assist in creating localized metadata for regional audiences where necessary. Maintain clear and timely communication with your Language Coordinator, studio partners, and CG Leadership. Familiarize yourself with the Beast brand to become an effective and engaged resource within CreatorGlobal. What we're looking for
Native Danish speaker C1+ level English 1–3 years of experience with subtitling, translation, dubbing translation, or related localization work Passion for your native language and culture, including knowledge of lingo, slang, cultural references, and sensitivities Organized and structured, with ability to adapt to changing schedules Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong attention to detail Empathetic and proactive team player A+ Candidate
Proficient with OOONA subtitle tools (Create Pro and Translate Pro) Understanding of the YouTube and digital media landscape in your native language 3+ years of subtitles/translation/dubbing experience Connections to studios, voice actors, dubbing directors, or translators in your language to expand the CG network Location
Remote. Preferably you live in a primarily Danish-speaking region or locality. Hiring Process
