Minimum Qualifications

- For full consideration, applicants are encouraged to upload license and/or certification if required of the position Bachelor\'s degree in related area and/or equivalent experience/training with a college-level program. Collegiate coaching experience in the sport of gymnastics. Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations. Knowledge of the rules and strategies of gymnastics. This includes, but is not limited to, teaching techniques, coaching strategies and safety measures that are necessary for the UC Davis student/athlete to compete at the collegiate level. Ability to interact effectively and establish cooperative working relationships with UC Davis student/athletes, coaching colleagues, department staff and other persons from diverse backgrounds including parents, fans, boosters, members of the media and officials associated with the sport. Preferred Qualifications Ability to learn the complex policies and procedures regarding academic eligibility of UC Davis student/athletes.
