HC-Resource is seeking an experienced, New York–based Catering Sales Manager to join our Marketing Team and Director of Operations to drive company-wide catering sales in a commission-incentivized role. The Catering Sales Manager will assist in ensuring execution that all booked onsite and offsite events needs are met and will communicate with restaurant management teams at each location to coordinate appropriate event setup based on generated event orders. The Catering Sales Manager will support a high standard of operational excellence and collaborate with our in-house Marketing Department to ensure each restaurant has the appropriate marketing materials needed from the Private Events and Catering Department. The Catering Sales Manager is responsible for all private dining and catering sales of the restaurant, including but not limited to sales outreach and event coordination and execution. They will solicit sales opportunities and build relationships with guests to book catering events including non-private groups, private events, and off-premise catering. The ideal candidate will provide excellent hospitality and service to guests when planning an event and will interact daily with operations management and the culinary team to execute. The candidate should have 2–3 years of restaurant catering sales experience, a passion for food and drink, and a desire to work in a strong service culture. Responsibilities
Handle all Private Event and Catering administrative duties, such as generating menus for events, updating the companywide event calendar, and sending daily financial reports to each location. Participate in weekly meetings with each restaurant’s management team to review event details. Meet with clients onsite for site visits to showcase the space in the absence of the Regional Catering & Events Manager and communicate the operational nuances of each event space. Experience with TripleSeat is preferred but not mandatory. Be incentive-driven, passionate, and willing to grow. New York-based and required to come into the office full-time.
