About This Role We are seeking a motivated and results-driven
Sales Manager
with extensive experience in the fintech ecosystem. This leadership-oriented, client-facing role will coordinate sales activities, support strategic goals, and contribute to revenue generation by empowering Sales Directors while focusing on operational execution. This role reports to the sales leadership team and serves as a go-to resource for scaling the broader sales strategy.
Responsibilities
Sales Strategy & Support : Collaborate with Sales Directors to develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies, maintain client relationships, meet organizational sales targets, and identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities.
Client Engagement & Success : Proactively engage with clients during sales and implementation phases, ensuring smooth onboarding, operational success, and enhanced long-term engagement. Maintain relationships with decision-makers to deepen collaboration and uncover additional needs.
Market Research & Positioning : Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, provide actionable insights for tailored strategies, and position Apex's products dynamically for diverse audiences to showcase maximum value.
Product Expertise : Develop a deep understanding of Apex Fintech Solutions’ products and capabilities to effectively guide stakeholders and support sales efforts.
Sales Operations & Collaboration : Facilitate communication between internal teams (product, operations, legal, and implementation) to streamline processes, eliminate bottlenecks, and deliver premium service across the client lifecycle.
Sales Enablement : Represent Apex during sales calls, demonstrations, and meetings while assisting with pipeline tracking, lead follow-ups, and forecasting to support decision-making.
Education and/or Experience
Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
5+ years of prior work experience in sales, business development, or account management within fintech, SaaS, or cloud-based platforms.
FINRA SIE and Series 7 License(s) preferred
Demonstrated success in supporting or exceeding sales and revenue goals in team-oriented environments.
Required Skills/Abilities
Proven ability to support consultative sales cycles and achieve optimized buyer outcomes.
Strategic thinker with a client-first mentality and business acumen to aid decision-makers.
Outstanding interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills, complemented by active listening and negotiation abilities.
Advanced knowledge of financial markets, cloud computing concepts, and platform integration capabilities within fintech/enterprise sectors. Self-starter who thrives in collaborative, fast-paced environments; exhibits resilience and problem-solving under pressure.
Proficiency in identifying market demand and expansion opportunities through data-driven insights.
Work Environment
This job operates in a hybrid, office environment 3 days per week.
Up to 25% travel. Flexible and willing to attend in-person client meetings or conferences as appropriate.

The annual base salary range for this position is noted above. Exact compensation offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and office location.
