Job Title: Lecturer of Biology Location: Kennesaw, Georgia Regular/Temporary: Regular • Full/Part Time: Full-Time Job ID: 280533 Kennesaw State University is accepting applications for a full-time, non-tenure track faculty position as Lecturer of Biology in the Department of Molecular and Cellular Biology with a preferred start date of August 2025. This is a nine-month contracted position located in the state of Georgia. Responsibilities

Primary responsibility for teaching a first-semester freshman course, Culture and Success in Science and Mathematics, with a secondary teaching focus on undergraduate introductory biology lecture and lab courses covering cellular biology and genetics. Teach other undergraduate biology courses as needed by the department. Provide learning opportunities and practices that nurture growth and respect for all voices of our extensive student population. Participate in professional service within the Department, the College of Science and Mathematics, the University, and beyond. Teaching assignments will be based on earned degrees and SACSCOC Faculty Credentials Guidelines. Qualifications

Required: An earned Master’s or Doctorate degree, or foreign equivalent, in Biology or a closely related discipline. Preferred: A record of exemplary teaching at the university level, a record of mentoring undergraduates, experience with course development and active learning strategies, and experience teaching online or hybrid courses.
