Location: Sunnyvale (Main Campus) Mountain View, and San Jose, CA Applicants must be fully flexible and available to work any day of the week and any shift (day, swing, or overnight) as scheduling needs may vary. Guaranteed or set schedules will not be offered for this position. Earliest start time 1400 Latest end time 0800 Competitive hourly wage of $23 / hour (DailyPay is available for GardaWorld employees!) Must be articulate and professional when interacting with guests, the events team (event owners, coordinators), and security staff. Strong interpersonal skills are a must, this is a guest services type role! Manage access control Perform regular patrols to identify potential risks Inspect security equipment and report any maintenance needs Respond to incidents, provide first aid, and coordinate with emergency teams Answer questions in person or by phone Write incident reports and communicate security concerns Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property Must be able to escalate any incident appropriately via radio or Pixel to GSOC (Global Security Ops Center) or on-site security. Ability to read and understand maps to help direct guests throughout the campus. Qualifications For Concierge Security Guard
Be authorized to work in the U.S. Be able to provide documentation of HS Diploma or GED Have a state security license and additional 32hr. BSIS security trainings (Additional security trainings can be obtained during the hiring process) Be at least 21 years of age Have a valid CA. driver license and clean driving record Flexible Availability: willing and able to work any day of the week, including weekends and holidays, and any shift (day, swing, or overnight) as operational needs require. Shifts may vary from week to week, and guaranteed or fixed schedules are not available. Be comfortable working 8 to 12 hours per shift. Be comfortable working at all 5 sites: Sunnyvale (Main), Mountain View (Main), San Jose, Santa Cruz, and Fremont. 6 months security experience preferred Be able to ace (and pass) an extensive screening process Exceptional customer service skills Proficient in basic phone & computer skills Experience in Security, Military, Law Enforcement is a plus Employment is contingent on the successful completion of a background check and drug screening to be conducted after an offer of employment is extended.
