Responsibilities: The Fire Suppression Sales Representative is responsible for driving sales growth in specialized fire protection systems, including

kitchen hood suppression ,

industrial dry chemical ,

clean agent ,

fuel island , and

foam-based systems . This role focuses on identifying new opportunities, building client relationships, and supporting customers through the full sales cycle — from consultative selling to project handoff. Key Responsibilities: Develop and grow new business in targeted markets such as restaurants, data centers, fuel facilities, industrial plants, and commercial kitchens. Sell engineered and pre-engineered systems including: Kitchen hood suppression (Ansul, Pyro-Chem, etc.) Clean agent systems (FM-200, Novec 1230, Inergen, etc.) Dry chemical and foam systems (fuel islands, industrial hazards) Perform site surveys and consult with clients to design customized suppression solutions. Prepare and present professional proposals and bids based on NFPA standards and AHJ requirements. Work with designers, estimators, project managers, and service technicians to ensure seamless project delivery. Build and maintain relationships with contractors, facility managers, and end users. Maintain current knowledge of applicable NFPA codes (e.g., 17, 17A, 2001, 12, 96), local regulations, and system technologies. Use CRM tools to manage pipeline, leads, proposals, and follow-ups. Consistently meet or exceed monthly and annual sales targets. Qualifications: 3+ years of sales experience in fire suppression or related life safety systems. Strong understanding of kitchen suppression systems, clean agents, and foam/dry chemical applications. Familiarity with NFPA codes related to fire suppression systems. Strong technical acumen with ability to read blueprints and specifications. Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skills. Self-starter with strong organizational and time-management skills. Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record. Preferred: NICET Level I or II in Special Hazards or Fire Suppression Systems. Experience with Ansul, Amerex, Kidde, or similar suppression product lines. Estimating experience in commercial fire protection projects. Compensation & Benefits: Base salary plus performance-based commission. Company vehicle or vehicle allowance.
