About the Role:
We are seeking a driven and technically proficient Business Development Manager to lead new business acquisition for our plate and frame heat exchanger product line. This is a hunter role focused on identifying and securing new customers across industrial sectors, with a strong emphasis on technical sales and solution-based selling.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities across target markets including chemical, pharmaceutical, food & beverage, and energy.
Develop and execute strategic sales plans to grow market share in North America and/or international territories.
Conduct technical presentations and product demonstrations to prospective clients, showcasing deep understanding of heat exchanger applications.
Collaborate with engineering and product teams to tailor solutions to customer requirements.
Maintain a robust pipeline and report on sales activity, forecasts, and market trends.
Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and client meetings.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
Minimum of 4 years’ experience in technical sales, preferably within heat exchangers, thermal systems, or process equipment.
Proven track record of hunting and winning new business in industrial markets.
Strong understanding of plate and frame heat exchanger technology and applications.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Willingness to travel as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working with OEMs, EPCs, and industrial distributors.
Familiarity with CRM systems and sales reporting tools.
Multilingual capabilities (Spanish or Portuguese) for LATAM markets is a plus.
