Account Manager – Accelerated Sales Program White Cap is hiring immediately for our Accelerated Sales Program. This is a six- to twelve-month, comprehensive, sales-specific training program designed to fast-track the growth and development of new Outside Sales Representatives/Account Managers. Participants will work closely with White Cap sales leaders to develop the skills, customer and supplier relationships, and knowledge needed to be successful in outside sales. This program prepares participants to contribute to White Cap’s growth and to build America’s skyline and future careers. Responsibilities

Participates in classroom, independent study, and on-the-job training to learn White Cap’s business model, products, vendors, customer needs, jobsite environment, systems, competitors, pricing, sales approach, and selling skills. Prepares and executes account plans. Sells White Cap value proposition and products. Learns about making effective jobsite or office sales calls by riding along with the District Sales Manager or experienced Account Managers. Enters and processes customer orders. Performs other duties as assigned. Note: This position requires operation of a company vehicle or a personal vehicle; such operation is expected more than 80% of the average work week. If selected, a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) will be reviewed and must be acceptable. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field or one to two years of sales or related field experience Strong communication skills and comfortable interacting with team members Requires strong self-governance, a proactive approach, personal accountability, and independence Competitive nature with a drive to succeed Goal-oriented with personal accountability to deliver on metrics Open to feedback and willing to take action to improve performance Demonstrated ability to plan and organize daily activities Spanish language proficiency Additional Information

Pay Range: Illinois law requires the posting of the salary range for advertised jobs. This range is determined based on market data and internal pay practices to establish a minimum and maximum value for a job. Individual base pay is determined based on a variety of elements including experience, skills, internal equity and other factors.
