Join our team at Georgia Pacific Packaging and embark on an exciting opportunity as a highly motivated National Account Sales Manager in our corrugated box division. You will drive revenue growth in volume and margins, develop strategic partnerships, and provide innovative solutions to our customers. The role supports a home-based setup with regular travel to client sites. At Georgia Pacific Corrugated Packaging, we deliver innovative packaging solutions that drive growth and value for customers. As a National Accounts Sales Manager, you will drive sales growth across our box plant division and play a key role in transforming our organization and our customers. What You Will Do
Manage a diverse portfolio of national packaging customers and direct corrugated users. Drive revenue growth in volume and margins year over year, exceed targets, and provide innovative solutions, including advanced graphic digital sales promotion. Develop and nurture preferred supplier partnerships through strategic account planning. Utilize a consultative, problem-solving approach to sell our value-added portfolio of products. Identify and understand the business needs of assigned prospects, building strong decision-maker relationships to generate new business growth. Independently work towards objectives with strong time management to exceed customer expectations. Collaboratively lead cross-functional initiatives and new business onboarding, demonstrating project management skills. Communicate effectively through oral, written, and presentation modes, while actively listening to customer needs. Commit to continuous learning in a competitive, fast-changing marketplace. Maintain accurate customer activity reports/files using CRM Microsoft Dynamics or similar data-mining capabilities. Utilize the Microsoft Office 365 Suite to enhance productivity and streamline processes. Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
5 to 8 years of progressive experience in the corrugated or packaging industry, preferably in outside sales or sales management. Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time (domestic travel and overnight stays) based on business needs. What Will Put You Ahead
Technical understanding of corrugated operations. Experience selling complex B2B solutions or through distribution channels. Crm proficiency for pipeline management and communication. Familiarity with Strategic Account Planning methodologies. Bachelor\'s degree or higher. Compensation
For this role, compensation ranges from $150,000 to $180,000 per year, with eligibility for variable pay in the form of a monetary bonus or other arrangements. Hiring Philosophy
