Service Sales Engineer - West Coast

Role description: As a Service Sales Engineer, your mission is to drive sales growth for our service business by leveraging your technical expertise and understanding of customer needs. Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, you will work closely with the engineering and service product teams to implement effective service sales strategies. Responsibilities

Plan and prioritize service sales activities and customer interactions to achieve business targets. Collaborate with the service aftermarket team to provide exceptional after-sales service, ensuring high customer satisfaction. Analyze market trends and provide management with accurate information on pricing, competitive activities, and regional issues. Prepare and propose service product offerings, calculating sales prices using the company\'s discount strategy and quoting tools. Monitor and report on service sales activities, keeping the CRM updated with customer visit reports, opportunities, and quotation statuses. Work with cross-functional teams to coordinate activities that maximize customer relationships and business outcomes. Qualifications

Degree Level – Four-year degree in business, marketing, or engineering, or equivalent work experience. Minimum of 3 years relevant working experience in industrial service sales, preferably in the vacuum industry. Knowledge Areas: Understanding of value-based selling for service business; strong technical understanding and ability to quickly adapt to new products/technical developments; experience in an industrial environment, ideally with engineering background; understanding of optimized territory management; strong sales techniques and skills. Critical Skills: Courage and integrity; commitment to customers; eagerness to hunt for results; ability to cope with pressure and setbacks and learn and develop; keen interest in market and competition; ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders; effective communication. Other Requirements: Excellent verbal and written English; confident in interaction with end customers; willing to travel intensively (10% local travel and up to 50% overnight travel). Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel); experience with SAP preferred. Work Location
