Overview
Senior Sales Specialist – Cryogenic Solutions (Philadelphia / Southern New Jersey) at Azenta Life Sciences. This role leads commercial strategy within a defined region, coordinating with local account management, channel partners, and business development to achieve annual sales targets. The position requires subject matter expertise in cold chain management, GxP environments, storage workflows, and supply chain needs within key markets (CGT, Pharma, Biotech). Travel within the targeted geographic region is expected. What You’ll Do
Achieve annual sales goals within the defined region through development, maintenance, and enhancement of customer relationships. Accounts may include Cell & Gene Therapy, Pharmaceutical Companies, Biotech Companies, Research Institutions, and Government Laboratories within the region. Drive growth by developing and successfully executing account management strategies. Collaborate with Marketing on creating a marketing plan, registering/planning/attending local vendor shows, and executing campaigns. Work cross-functionally with Inside Sales, Account Managers, other Sales Specialists, Technical Sales and, in some cases, Corporate Accounts to ensure effective collaboration of resources to deliver on client needs. What You’ll Bring
Bachelor's Degree required (Biology or Life Sciences). 5+ years of experience in life sciences capital equipment sales in a designated region/territory (CGT and sample storage preferred). Proven track record in meeting/exceeding sales goals. Keen business acumen, sound decision making, analytical and organizational skills in a fast-paced environment; a consultative approach to managing client relationships. Confident written and oral communication skills; demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with key stakeholders of internal and external organizations. Must have valid driver’s license. Experience in life sciences, clinical diagnostics, and biobanking preferred. Working Conditions / Schedule
Willing and able to travel overnight as required (up to 50% of time depending on territory). Home-office based in Philadelphia / New Jersey area. EOE
