Jewelry - Weekend Sales Associate – Tampa Bay at Neiman Marcus. Role focuses on building genuine connections with customers, offering personalized styling, and maintaining an organized, attractive store. Weekend emphasis on creating fashionable looks and strengthening the customer’s bond with the NM brand through styling, designer knowledge, and trend awareness. The role fosters a positive, inclusive atmosphere and contributes to the business through exceptional customer service. What You’ll Do
Proactively greet and welcome all clients throughout the store and department to initiate the experience and show willingness to assist. Engage customers with authentic connections and personalized styling. Demonstrate selling and service behaviors that develop deep, lasting customer relationships. Follow up promptly on customer requests and commitments. Promote store services and handle transactions smoothly. Assist customers across store areas, including sales floor and fitting rooms. Educate self and clients on merchandise, events, promotions, policy and services. Drive loyalty by applying product knowledge to enhance the customer experience. Demonstrate expert styling and brand knowledge; show curiosity about all store categories. Support operations: maintain selling floor, replenish stock, process receipts, clean fitting rooms, and return merchandise to departments as needed. Ensure audit compliance and Merchandise Protection Standards are met (will-call, hold policies, and credit compliance). Collaborate with store leaders and peers to meet goals and maintain a positive team environment. Foster inclusivity and belonging among peers and clients by respecting diverse styles and personalities. Maintain professionalism, adhere to the work schedule and personal presentation standards. What You Bring
Styling experience in luxury fashion or strong knowledge of trends and designer brands; ability to translate that knowledge into customer styling solutions. Effective communication skills with experience creating meaningful connections that build brand loyalty. Ability to move around the sales floor, stockroom, and office; lift up to 30 lb with or without reasonable accommodation. Sales Associate or customer-focused experience (preferred). Hospitable mindset when engaging with customers. Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Technology proficiency and ability to operate a point-of-sale system. Proactive, thoughtful decision-making and motivation to achieve sales goals.
