Lead the business development activities from concept to production. Act as the liaison between the customer and all internal partners (Production, Purchasing, Applications, etc.) to ensure on-time and quality metrics are achieved. Stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities to identify potential areas for business development. Develop the sales forecast and plans and provide updates regularly. Maintain updated knowledge and proficiency of product lines and pricing strategy. Develop new customers and maintain customer relations, aligning our products and services with customers' projects and needs. Apply domain knowledge in intelligent sensors to provide value-adding services and market intelligence for future product and application development. Manage commercial activities, negotiate contracts, close deals, and generate revenue in LiDAR products and LiDAR-based solutions in the U.S. What qualifications and skills will make you succeed in this role?
Bachelor's degree in engineering, business administration, or related discipline. 5+ years’ experience in Business Development, Sales, Technical Sales, Product Management, or as a Subject Matter Expert in sensors, technology hardware, robotics, or related solution areas. Strong network with major integrators/partners in the area; ability to introduce new technology and partner with major players. Understanding of intelligent sensors, smart hardware, and solution markets; clear GTM strategy and business planning. Knowledge of existing technologies and products in the field; ability to identify customer pain points and propose solutions. Strong communication and customer-facing skills; ability to manage programs and drive customer success. Strong negotiation skills and a track record of driving results and closing deals.
