About the Role
T.H.E. Show is America's longest running HiFi Show, now in its 29th year of business, celebrating the best in high-fidelity audio technology, bringing together brands, enthusiasts, and industry leaders under one roof. We are seeking a proactive and persuasive Sales Representative to join our team and play a key role in recruiting exhibitors and sponsors for the upcoming show.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and manage a pipeline of prospective exhibitors and sponsors
Conduct outreach via phone, email, LinkedIn, and in-person (as needed) to generate interest and close deals
Deliver persuasive presentations and sales pitches tailored to each prospect’s needs
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in the audio industry
Collaborate with the event marketing team to align messaging and promotional efforts
Track all activity, leads, and deals in a CRM system
Meet or exceed sales targets for exhibitor and sponsor acquisition
Provide ongoing support to exhibitors to ensure a smooth onboarding process
Qualifications
Strong communication, including direct phone sales, and negotiation skills
Familiarity with the high-end audio industry is a major plus
Self-motivated and results-driven, with the ability to work independently
Experience using CRM software (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce)
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Preferred
Existing contacts in the consumer electronics or audio manufacturing space
Background in event sales, media sales, or related fields
Understanding of trade show operations and exhibitor expectations
Proficiency with Google Workspace, teleconferencing platforms, Microsoft 365, et al.
Compensation
Competitive base rate or retainer (commensurate with experience)
Commission-based incentives for exhibitor/sponsor deals closed
Flexible schedule with remote work options
