We are hiring for a role within the North America Medical Devices Deliver Team. This Manager will have responsibility for leading the MD Channel Operations team, which develops and maintains strong relationships with external medical devices distributors.

Key Responsibilities

Lead a team of analysts who have responsibility for order monitoring, data management, distributor score-carding, inventory management support activities, and compliance-to-quality requirements for MD Distributors.

Oversee the development and execution of strategies designed to drive collaborative order, inventory and logistics management processes with distributors and internal business partners including Commercial, Finance, Distribution, and Transportation, and Customer Services.

Partner with Ethicon Commercial Channel Management and MD Supply Chain to lead and support key programs, projects, and initiatives.

Develop account and distributor class of trade-wide plans and action items to positively influence the customer experience measured by ease and effectiveness.

Assist with additional customer initiatives and assist with subject matter expertise given distributor experience and best practices.

Conduct troubleshooting and root cause analysis for complex issues using company-specific knowledge of products, processes and contacts and develops recommendations for resolution.

Prioritize and manage MD Channel Operations resources.

Develop and deploy MD Channel Operations talent management strategy, identify skill set needs and develop training, recruiting, and career path strategies to ensure team can grow to meet business objectives.

Enable E2E assessments starting from distributor order management to dispute closure to identify and drive improvements to reducing trending root causes, forecasting resource workload, and simplifying cash flow opportunities.

Present data in a format that allows management to make strategic decisions; i.e., creation of an executive summary; use of PE tools and concepts to analyze/drive process improvements as appropriate.

Qualifications Education

Minimum Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree or focused degree in Supply Chain or Business preferred

Experience And Skills

Required

Minimum 6 years of relevant experience

Ability to collaborate, communicate, and build strong partnerships internally and externally with key cross-functional stakeholders at multiple levels of the organization

Strong business acumen and understanding of the end-to-end supply chain in a matrixed organization

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with proven track record to effectively lead, resolve conflicts, and inspire change

Supply Chain or Channel Management experience

People management experience OR SAP or Tableau knowledge

Experience working with Distributor or Hospital Customers

Preferred

Project management experience required; certification is helpful

Demonstrated ability to think strategically and implement approved strategies to drive value for J&J and customers

Lean, Six Sigma, or Process Excellence certification or training

Other

Requires up to 10% domestic travel

Salary Range (Base Pay) $100,000 - $172,500

Employees are eligible for the following time off benefits: Vacation –120 hours per calendar year Sick time – 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington –56 hours per calendar year Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays –13 days per calendar year Work, Personal and Family Time – up to 40 hours per calendar year Parental Leave – 480 hours within one year of the birth/adoption/foster care of a child Condolence Leave – 30 days for an immediate family member: 5 days for an extended family member Caregiver Leave – 10 days Volunteer Leave – 4 days Military Spouse Time‑Off – 80 hours.
