We are seeking a Project Engineer with a background in water and wastewater infrastructure design and project delivery. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to planning, design, and construction administration for municipal and utility projects. The ideal candidate has strong technical expertise, project coordination experience, and a desire to grow into increasing responsibility. Key Responsibilities:
Support and manage design and delivery of water and wastewater treatment, conveyance, and distribution projects. Develop and review engineering reports, technical memoranda, drawings, specifications, and cost estimates. Conduct hydraulic modelling, treatment process evaluations, and system planning studies. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, contractors, and regulatory agencies. Provide construction-phase support, including submittal reviews, site visits, and field problem solving. Assist with project schedules, budgets, and client communications. Contribute to business development through proposal support and client relationship building. Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental, or related Engineering discipline. Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification required; Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred or ability to obtain within 1–2 years. 5+ years of experience in water and/or wastewater engineering. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and hydraulic modelling software. Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team setting.
