Job Overview Mackey Electrical Services Inc is actively seeking a skilled and dependable Fire Alarm Technician to join our Field Operations team. This role involves the installation, testing, and inspection of fire alarm systems in commercial buildings. The ideal candidate brings at least 5 years of hands‑on experience in fire alarm system installations and is looking for a long‑term career with a company that values loyalty, safety, and professional growth.

Key Responsibilities

Install fire alarm systems in commercial settings, including:

Conduit installation

Pulling and routing cable and wire

Installing and connecting fire alarm devices

Conduct thorough system testing and inspections

Ensure all work complies with local codes, standards, and safety regulations

Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure timely project completion

Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of experience installing commercial fire alarm systems

High school diploma or GED required

Preferred: NICET Level II certification (not mandatory)

Bilingual in English and Spanish strongly preferred

Strong work ethic and team‑oriented attitude

Career‑focused mindset; seeking long‑term employment

Ability to read blueprints and wiring diagrams

Knowledge of local codes and standards for fire alarm systems

Valid driver's license and clean driving record
