Objective: Under minimal supervision, this position ensures that all personnel acquire the necessary knowledge (including applicable requirements) to perform their work correctly and efficiently before they assume the responsibilities of their position. In addition, ensures the proper personnel competence development per the defined plans / needs. Main Function Responsibilities and Activities: A) Coordinate and deploy the Company training strategy and the continual improvement of the training and competence process in coordination with the involved areas to lead the training and competence development. B) Ensure that the company provides the proper training installations, material and resources, including SME's definition needed to deploy the defined training program. C) Work in coordination with HR to ensure the complete training and competence development plan/program for every company employee. D) In coordination with HR, maintain a consolidated calendar of training courses or events and coordinates the use of facilities and equipment. E) Coordinate and supervise the work of the technical trainers and maintain activity KPI's and perform the necessary actions and activities to achieve the KPI's targets. F) In coordination with ME's and SME's, ensure the development and maintenance of all defined training modules to deploy and maintain the training strategy; in coordination with HR and the applicable departments, schedule trainees, speakers and SME's appropriately to deploy the training programs according to plan. G) In coordination with operations, generate, maintain and support the personnel skills matrix, including personnel authorities based on their competence. H) Generation, management, storage & retrieval of personnel training records into the training system. I) Assist in recording and monitoring metrics that provide data to quantify results. J) Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. K) Assist in the facilitation, teaching, and development of certain training and assignments in coordination with the leaders of the Talent Development Group when necessary. L) Participate, monitoring and follow up on strategic projects for improvement when applicable to training. M) Performs other duties as assigned. Job Requirements Education & Qualification Bachelor's degree or six (6) years of related experience in lieu of the degree. Work Experience - Technical knowledge At least 3 years of experience as a training admin. or in a training setting preferred. Experience to work with multifunctional teams is preferred. Knowledge of ISO9001, ISO19011, AS9100, AS9145, ISO14001, OHSAS 18001. APQP Tools knowledge and domain, PDCA, DMAIC and other related tools knowledge. Records and archives management experience is desired. Professional Skills MS Office proficiency; ability to generate written communication and to operate required office equipment. Ability to read and review written communication. Clear English speaking and hearing abilities. Ability to solve problems and think strategically. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions in written, oral, diagram or schedule form. Behavioral Skills Ability to take initiative, accept responsibility, adaptability-flexibility, work under pressure, autonomy, creativity and leadership. Comfortable with ambiguity and limited instruction. Must have the ability to drive major initiatives. Ability to manage multiple tasks. Strong leadership, initiative and execution.
