Location details: The Kennesaw campus address is 1000 Chastain Road NW, Kennesaw, GA 30144. The Marietta campus address is 1100 South Marietta Parkway, Marietta, GA 30060.

Department Information The Wellstar School of Nursing has one of the nation\'s largest in-person BSN programs, delivering educational experiences that prepare workforce-ready professionals. The program collaborates with healthcare partners to prepare graduates to lead and transform health and well-being through innovative practice, education, research, and service.

Job Summary We are accepting applications for full-time, non-tenure track faculty positions as Lecturer of Nursing in the Wellstar School of Nursing, with a preferred start date of August 2025. These are nine-month contracted positions for work to be performed in the state of Georgia.

Responsibilities The position reports to the Director of the Wellstar School of Nursing. A commitment to excellence in teaching and service to the university, department and/or discipline is expected of all non-tenure track faculty. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Teaching at the undergraduate level in didactic and clinical courses. Classroom, lab, and clinical teaching may be required.

Service to the department, college, university, and/or professional community.

Teaching assignments will be based on earned degrees and SACSCOC Faculty Credentials Guidelines.

Required Qualifications

A master\'s degree, or the foreign equivalent, in nursing is required.

A strong depth of knowledge in adult health, community health, psychiatric/mental health, parent/child or women\'s health nursing, and/or skills and simulation labs.

A minimum of three years of clinical nursing experience, and previous experience in nursing education or serving as a preceptor for nursing students in clinical settings.

An active RN license in Georgia or eligibility for a Georgia nursing license.

Preferred Qualifications

Previous teaching experience

Nurse Practitioner Certification (Acute Care, Adult Health, Family, Gerontological, Pediatric, Women\'s Health, or Psychiatric/Mental Health)
