Registered Nurse – Emergency Room (ER) Travel Position Location: Rochester, NY Job Type: Travel Contract Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 4×12 Rotating (Days/Nights – Variable Shifts) Start Date: November 18, 2025 Pay: $2,872.80/week (plus $2,500 completion bonus per contract, up to $7,500 after three contracts) Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and adaptable Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week travel assignment in Rochester, NY. The ER RN will provide rapid, evidence-based care to patients presenting with acute illnesses, trauma, or life-threatening emergencies. This assignment requires strong clinical judgment, fast decision-making, and the ability to perform under pressure in a high-volume emergency setting. The ideal candidate must be proficient with Epic EMR, available to work rotating shifts including holidays, and have a current New York RN license in hand prior to submission. Key Responsibilities

Triage, assess, and prioritize patients presenting with a wide range of emergent conditions. Deliver expert nursing care in a Level II trauma environment to both adult and geriatric populations. Perform and manage advanced clinical procedures including arterial line management, central line care, IV vasopressors, and procedural sedation. Administer medications, blood products, and continuous IV infusions safely and effectively. Interpret cardiac rhythms and dysrhythmias, and initiate appropriate interventions for STEMI, CVA, and trauma cases. Care for ventilated and neuro-trauma patients while maintaining airway and hemodynamic stability. Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapy, pharmacy, and ancillary services to coordinate patient care. Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in Epic. Provide education and emotional support to patients and families during acute and post-stabilization phases. Float as required to other units within the emergency or critical care service line. Qualifications

Active New York State RN license (required prior to submission). Graduate of an accredited nursing program (BSN preferred). Minimum of 2 years of recent ER nursing experience (Level I or II trauma preferred). Current BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and PALS certifications required; TNCC preferred. Proficiency in Epic EMR (required). Strong skills in triage, dysrhythmia interpretation, procedural sedation, IV therapy, and ventilated patient management. Experience with neuro-trauma, spinal cord injuries, and orthopedic trauma preferred. Proof of COVID-19 vaccination and recent tuberculosis test (if required by facility). Must be available for holiday coverage. Must reside more than 75 miles from the facility (locals not accepted). Excellent communication, collaboration, and crisis management abilities. Benefits
