Full-Time Veterinarian – Make a Difference for Cats Across Massachusetts!
Do you want to change the lives of cats and the people who love them?
Merrimack River Feline Rescue Society (MRFRS) is looking for a passionate full-time veterinarian to join our Catmobile team. We are a mobile spay/neuter wellness clinic that’s been rolling across Massachusetts for more than 17 years. With over 75,000 cats helped so far, we’re not slowing down and we want YOU to be part of the impact.
MRFRS is a nonprofit dedicated to improving the lives of all cats and providing support and education for the people who care for them. Through innovative programs like the Catmobile, we’re transforming access to affordable veterinary care while addressing feline overpopulation at its root.
Why This Role Matters Feline overpopulation is a real and heartbreaking problem- but together, we can change that. As part of the Catmobile team, you’ll help provide accessible, high-quality veterinary care while directly reducing the number of homeless cats across the state.
Are You a veterinarian who
Has experience in HQHVSN (high-quality, high-volume spay/neuter) surgery or is eager to grow these skills through training (funding available!).
Wants to be part of the solution to feline overpopulation.
Believes every cat—and every family—deserves access to care.
Is looking for meaningful, impactful work in a supportive environment.
What You’ll Do
Perform feline spay/neuter surgery and provide basic wellness care on our fully equipped, state-of-the-art Catmobile.
Work with a compassionate, skilled team who shares your passion for helping cats and the people who love them.
What We Offer
Training opportunity: Funding available for HQHVSN training for the right candidate.
Flexibility & work-life balance: 36–40 hours per week, 8-hour shifts
Health benefits, paid vacation, holidays, and sick time.
Relocation assistance available.
Competitive compensation based on experience ($175-$200,00)
A supportive, mission-driven team environment where your skills make a difference every day.
