**Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA)** is currently seeking **Experienced Aircraft Assembler Production Test Electrical Mechanics + Test Heavy Assemblers (Level B or Level C)** to assist with multiple areas of the 787 production system in **North Charleston, South Carolina** on a **variable shift!*** **Must have the ability to complete the New Hire Training Cycle Flow to obtain and maintain all required certifications.*** Ability to adhere to high standards of safety and quality.* Comply with Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and Boeing Quality Management System (QMS) requirements.* Ensure your work conforms to engineering drawings and specifications, has First Pass Quality (FPQ) and is free from Foreign Object Debris.* Use computers and software applications in a production environment.* Look up/read/comprehend technical work instructions, drawings and/or specifications.* Wear appropriate protective clothing/equipment determined by the task you are performing.* Operate mechanical lifts of various types (e.g. ladders, tiger and aerial lifts).* Use various hand tools.* Climbing/balancing (stairs, ladders, poles, scaffolding, inclined surfaces), Crawling, Crouching (squatting),* Working around energized sources (electrical equipment and hazards/shock, e.g. circuit breakers and wiring) and exposure to constant noise.* Finger manipulation (keyboarding, other).* Reading from a computer screen, printed drawings or documents.* Carrying/Lifting up to 10-35 pounds* Flexion/Extension (head bent down, head bent back), Handling, Kneeling, Bending at the waist, Reaching (overhead), Rotation of head/neck, Standing, Twisting at the waist and walking.* Perform functional testing of aircraft electrical systems and components as well as perform aircraft systems troubleshooting and fault repair.* Assess and document test or analysis data to show compliance.* Perform complex production assembly operations on structural parts, mechanical assemblies, subassemblies and aircraft systems, equipment and accessories using manual or automated assembly tools.* Identify roadblocks and production constraints escalating issues which cannot be resolved by the team using open and clear communication.* Support teammates to improve overall team performance by providing cross training and mentoring.* Ability to work a variable shift.* Ability to meet physical demands of the role such as: flexion and extension (head bent down, head bent back), handling, kneeling, bending at the waist, reaching overhead, rotation of head/neck, standing, twisting at the waist and walking, climbing/balancing (stairs, ladders, poles, scaffolding, inclined surfaces), crawling, crouching (squatting).* Ability to carry/lift up to 10-35 pounds.* Ability to work with High Hazard Chemicals.* 1+ years of experience using software applications for internet navigation, email, Microsoft Suite and/or other specialized computer applications.* 1+ years of experience utilizing and following detailed work instructions, reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, or specifications, in English.* 1+ years of experience in electrical assembly and/or electronic materials.* 1+ years of experience in avionics systems troubleshooting, wire bundle installations, and aircraft electrical systems troubleshooting.* 3+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.* 3+ years of experience with functional testing of aircraft electrical systems.* 3+ years of experience with functional testing of IFE systems knowledge.* 3+ years of experience with aircraft systems troubleshooting and fault repair experience.* 1+ years of experience with 787 Program Experience.* Please review every aspect of your application carefully prior to submitting to ensure accuracy.* If your formal education is in the field you are applying for please include that time in your total years of experience.* Prior to uploading your resume, please ensure it is in one of the following formats: DOC, DOCX, PDF, or TXT.* Use your most accurate contact information on your application to include your full address.
