Job Title: Sr Quality Engineer Moog is looking for a
Senior Quality Engineer
to plan and execute cost-effective quality processes to meet or exceed contractual quality requirements and provide the required level of protection to Moog and its customers. You will have a measurable impact on our business performance by promoting the highest standards of quality. Due to the complex hardware we produce, understanding its importance is essential. You will report to a Program QE Manager and work onsite in East Aurora, NY (Buffalo area).
As a Senior Quality Engineer, you will:
Have integrity and the courage to address problems immediately, fostering a culture of transparency and accountability.
Be responsible for quality success on program teams, ensuring contractual requirements are met and making crucial quality-related decisions.
Collaborate with global partners to gather insights, resolve challenges, meet program requirements, and maintain transparent communication with customers.
Improve production by conducting QE studies, recommending design changes, and supporting manufacturing personnel.
Facilitate cross-functional problem-solving activities, including failure analysis, root cause and corrective actions, risk mitigation, and audit support.
Develop quality plans for inspection, manufacturing, assembly, testing, and final inspection processes.
Work directly with customers and suppliers to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
Enhance cost efficiency for inspection and prevent failures through statistical analysis and problem solving.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent STEM field.
At least 8 years of professional experience in engineering or manufacturing.
Preferred: 5 years of experience in Quality Engineering within a manufacturing environment.
Proficiency with statistical, spreadsheet, and database software packages.

Salary Range in Buffalo, NY:
$95,000.00 – $115,000.00 annually
The salary range is indicative and may vary based on experience, location, and performance. It is one component of Moog's total compensation, which may include bonuses, stock plans, and region-specific benefits.
