ESGE Test Engineer

Overview Summary: Seeking an EGSE Test Engineer to support engineering and program management with development and flight test activities.

Responsibilities

Identify testing methods and design test fixtures for risk mitigation and requirements verification/validation

Support hands-on test operations including fabrication and assembly of Ground Support Equipment (GSE)

Document specialized test set-up configurations for consistent results

Setup and conduct material tests to characterize properties or behaviors

Qualifications

B.S. degree or higher in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering, physics, mathematics, or other STEM discipline

4+ years of experience in mechanical or electrical fabrication

2+ years of experience supporting test activities

Experience using various hand and power tools (e.g., drill, calipers)

Experience using test equipment (e.g., DMM, oscilloscope)

Preferred Skills:

Experience reading and interpreting electrical schematics

Knowledge/experience with electrical components and systems

Knowledge/experience with soldering

Proficiency in MS Office

Experience with mechanical or electrical CAD

Compensation & Benefits Pay: 56-96/hr

Pay Details: $56.00 to $96.00 per hour
