Overview
Matern Professional Engineering is looking for an Electrical Engineer (PE) at its Maitland, FL office, to be involved with design and project management, not limited to K-12 Schools and Higher Educational facilities; commercial office buildings, airports, government facilities and hospital/healthcare facilities. Responsibilities
Design and project management involvement across a range of facilities, including K-12 schools, higher education facilities, commercial office buildings, airports, government facilities, and hospital/healthcare facilities. Qualifications
8+ years of experience in interior and exterior lighting, standby power systems, surge and lightning protection. Demonstrable experience with project management and team/discipline coordination. Ability to multi-task and possess superior written and oral communication skills. Proficiency with Word, Outlook and Excel. Strong working knowledge of Revit. Knowledge of National/FL Electrical codes. BS degree in Electrical Engineering required. Must have an existing FL PE or ability to obtain from another state within 1 year. Candidate must be able to pass criminal background checks (including the Jessica Lunsford Act) to visit school sites and FBI background checks for government buildings.
