Honda Automotive Technician Location:

Downtown Chicago, IL Honda of Downtown Chicago is currently seeking skilled and experienced Automotive Technicians to join our state-of-the-art service center. As an Automotive Technician, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles to ensure they operate safely and efficiently. Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance and inspections on vehicles, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections. Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues in vehicles, including engine, transmission, and suspension systems. Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify problems and troubleshoot complex issues. Perform vehicle alignments, tire installations, and other service procedures as needed. Follow manufacturer guidelines and service manuals to ensure repairs are completed accurately and efficiently. Communicate with service advisors and customers to explain repair recommendations and provide cost estimates. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety standards and dealership policies. Keep up-to-date with the latest automotive technology and attend training sessions to enhance your skills. Qualifications

Previous experience as an automotive technician, preferably in a dealership or service center environment. Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical issues in vehicles. ASE certification or equivalent training is preferred but not required. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with team members. Valid driver's license and a clean driving record. Benefits
