As a

Controls Project Engineer , you will work with some of the most talented engineers in the automation industry. This role will enable you to lead a team and work with customers while integrating state-of-the-art robotics and technology. This is an in-person role at our Greenville and Liberty location. What You’ll Do

Assist controls engineers and other staff. Assist engineers to identify areas for technical and career development. Partner with manager to develop engineering department through leadership, training and continuous improvement. Support several ongoing projects concurrently, including staffing, workload issues, and meeting project timelines. Design controls equipment to meet customer requirements. Lead cross-functional technical teams throughout the lifecycle of various projects. Assist with the successful management of assigned programs as they relate to cost, quality, timing and customer satisfaction. Lead teams and influence project direction and progress. Serve as a technical expert and leader in the department. What You’ll Bring

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field OR Associates degree with 2+ years of related experience. 10+ years of related experience. 2+ years leading technical projects. Skills You’ll Have

Ability to lead others and positively influence engineer's development and progression. Breadth and depth of experience with automation products, services, and the industry. Ability to identify systemic issues to improve department efficiency. Other Details

Travel up to 25% to customer sites & other JR locations. Present to colleagues and company management. Lead teams and influence project direction and progress. Serve as a technical expert and leader in the department. Company Details:
