Engineering Supervisor – Northampton

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Engineering Supervisor to support the customer and automation maintenance teams onsite operations based in Brackmills, Northampton. The Role The MaintenanceSupervisorwill report to theEngineering Manager, will liaise with the customers operational and engineering teams and will be responsible for: Ensuring the automation delivers the operational plan daily. Ensuring Planned Preventative Maintenance is completed in line with the Computerised Maintenance System. Reactive tasks are managed quickly and efficiently. Provide support for the engineering manager and cover role during leave Ensuring all information is captured on the Computerised Maintenance System, including booking spares, time, and machine and fault information. Identify future projects, enhancementsand obsolescenceto improve throughput and capacity and reduce downtime. Identify future life cycle repair requirements Develop good standard reporting and work with the customer. Ensure all shifts are covered. Develop the team to ensure progression of skills and competencies. Ensuring a good level of housekeeping of all automated areas is maintained Adhering to all health and safety requirements. Ensuring the Health and Safety of those implementing asset management activities by supporting the creation and updating of health and safety documentation onsite Skills and Qualifications The successful applicant will have: ONC/HNC or equivalent Proficient experience in Engineering and Maintenance Effective time management Strong problem-solving skills Good customer relations Ability to manage a strong team Company uniform Death In Service Policy Pension and Sick pay policy Equivalent of 25 days holidays plus bank holidays To Apply If you feel you are a suitable candidate and would like to work for this reputable company, please do not hesitate to apply.
