Design and implement Salesforce Core, Apttus CPQ, Vlocity (Salesforce Industries), Communications Cloud solutions, including custom applications, OmniScripts, DataRaptors, Integration Procedures, and FlexCards. Develop and customize Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, and Salesforce declarative tools. Develop CPQ models including Product and Price configurations, Bundles, Rules (Constraint, Validation, Product Attribute), and Approval processes. Configure and optimize Vlocity CPQ, product catalog, and order management for industry-specific solutions. Configure Salesforce Core functionalities, including custom objects, workflows, validation rules, flows, and process automation. Leverage Salesforce declarative tools to create efficient, scalable solutions that align with business needs. Customize and integrate Vlocity features to support industry-specific workflows, including quoting, pricing, and order orchestration. Design and develop integrations between Salesforce Core, Vlocity, and external systems using APIs, middleware, and Vlocity DataRaptors. Ensure seamless data flow across integrated systems, maintaining data accuracy and performance. Collaborate with IT teams to troubleshoot and resolve integration challenges. Optimize Salesforce Core and Vlocity solutions for performance, scalability, and maintainability. Conduct code reviews, performance testing, and debugging to ensure high-quality deliverables. Implement best practices for both Vlocity and Salesforce Core development. Work closely with business analysts, solution architects, and stakeholders to gather requirements and implement effective solutions. Document technical designs, workflows, and solution architectures for both Vlocity and Salesforce Core implementations. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to peer developers as needed. Conduct unit, integration, and performance testing for all developed solutions. Support deployments across multiple environments using CI/CD pipelines and version control systems. Troubleshoot and resolve post-deployment issues, ensuring seamless user experience. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Experience and Qualifications
5+ years of Salesforce development experience, with strong knowledge of Salesforce Core. 1+ years of hands-on experience with Vlocity (Salesforce Industries) tools and features. Proven track record of designing and delivering complex Salesforce Core and Vlocity solutions. Proficiency in Salesforce Core development, including Apex, SOQL, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Visualforce. Expertise in Vlocity OmniStudio tools (OmniScripts, DataRaptors, FlexCards, Integration Procedures) and configuration of industry-specific solutions. Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, data models, and security. Experience with system integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware tools (e.g., MuleSoft, Boomi), and Salesforce Connect. Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills, with a focus on scalability and efficiency. Salesforce certifications, such as Platform Developer I/II, OmniStudio Developer, Salesforce Industries Consultant, or Application Architect. Experience with Agile development methodologies and tools like Jira. Knowledge of DevOps tools, CI/CD pipelines, and version control systems (e.g., Git, Copado). Familiarity with industry-specific workflows in telecommunications, energy, or insurance sectors. Collaborative and innovative culture focused on delivering cutting-edge solutions. The compensation range reflects the Company’s good faith belief at the time of posting. 8x8 has different base pay ranges for different work locations within the United States, which allows us to pay employees competitively and consistently in different geographic markets. The range above reflects the potential base pay across the U.S. for this role; the applicable base pay range will depend on what ultimately is determined to be the candidate’s primary work location. Further, individual base pay depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience, knowledge, success, education and skills. Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time. Certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including discretionary merit increases, bonus and/or stock. Certain roles have the opportunity to earn sales variable compensation incentives based on the terms of the plan and the employee’s role.
